FAQ.
Poshmark questions.
What percentage does Poshmark take from a sale?
Poshmark takes a flat $2.95 commission on sales under $15 USD and 20% on sales of $15 or more. The 20% rate is identical in Canada and Australia; only the flat-below-threshold amount changes (C$3.95, A$4.95).
Why is the $2.95 flat fee worse than 20% on low-ticket items?
On a $10 sale, $2.95 is 29.5% — much higher than 20%. That's why the calculator shows the effective fee rate: it tells you the true cost as a percentage of the sale price, not just the absolute dollar amount.
Do bundle discounts change Poshmark's commission?
Yes. Bundles apply a buyer-side discount and Poshmark's 20% commission is calculated on the discounted total. A 10% bundle discount on a $100 sale becomes a $90 sale with an $18 commission.
What about the Closet Concierge or promoted closet fees?
Poshmark occasionally runs paid promo programs. This calculator models the standard commission only — drop us a note on the contact page if you'd like to add an optional uplift for Closet Concierge or similar.
Poshmark $2.95 flat fee vs 20% commission: when each applies
The $2.95 vs 20% bracket is the single most important number on a Poshmark seller's profit sheet. Below $15 USD, the flat fee is a 19.7%–∞ tax on a $14.99 sale. Above $15, 20% is one of the cleanest commission schedules in online resale. The calculator above shows the bracket in plain language: "Flat commission (under $15)" or "Commission (20%)" — plus an effective rate row so you can compare to other platforms.
