PlatformFeeCalculator (the “Service”) is designed to do useful work for marketplace and reseller sellers without collecting more data than we need. This page describes, in plain language, what we collect, what we don’t, and how to get in touch.

What we collect

  • Calculator inputs. The numbers you type into a calculator (sale price, shipping, item cost, currency) live in your browser only. They are not sent to our servers.
  • Local preferences. We store your chosen theme (light/dark) and currency in your browser’s localStorage so the experience is consistent across visits. These are scoped to your device.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, response status) for the purpose of operating, securing, and debugging the Service. Logs are retained for a short, defined period.

What we do not collect

  • Account information — we have no sign-up or login.
  • Email addresses — unless you write to us first.
  • Sale, profit, or any other calculator output.
  • Cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling.

Analytics

The Service is statically generated and may be served from a CDN. We may enable privacy-respecting, aggregate-only analytics (such as a self-hosted or first-party analytics tool) to understand which calculators are most useful. These tools do not identify you personally and never sell or share data.

Your rights

You can clear everything we store in your browser at any time by clearing site data for platformfeecalculator.com. If you have a request that goes beyond what’s stored in your browser, reach out via the contact page.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. If a change is material we will make a reasonable effort to surface it on the homepage for a reasonable period.
